Local Area

 

We have plenty of small local shops in the area including a supermarket. There are a lot of small pubs with plenty of atmosphere in the local area. Some hidden gems to eat in are minutes stroll along the beach front.

 

Getting Around
There are numerous buses that travel South to Stranraer/Dumfries or North to Ayrshire. The train station is on the mainline down the coast and also leads back up to Glasgow and is minutes from the cottage

Other things to note
Local excursions include hill walking, fishing trips and regular boat trips to the famous 'Paddy's Milestone' Ailsa Craig, Culzean Castle,  Kids park, pedalo rides and amusements are only a short walk away.
